WHAT IS RECLAIMED WOOD?

Reclaimed wood, also known as antique wood or vintage timber, is recycled lumber that is reused to provide a sustainable solution for homes and commercial establishments. Its rustic style and unique characteristics have made it a popular choice by decorators, architects and property owners to enhance the appeal of business premises as well as design modern homes. Reclaimed wood is a great material for flooring, beams, planking, mantels, and siding.

HOW WE SOURCE OUR RECLAIMED WOOD?

Our products at Vintage Timberworks are derived from the de-construction of antiquated wood structures, such as old barns, where timber has been “warehoused” for decades to centuries. Our sources are mostly from the US and Canada but we also get products from Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia.

Price are great. Stock is incredible, but what really makes this place the best is the customer service. Above and beyond. From accommodation to help on ordering in the front office, to all the gentleman in the lumber yard who are all extremely friendly, knowledgeable and also extremely accommodating. Dealt w/ 7 (3 front office, 4 lumber yard) different employees on a 25 minute transaction and all were smiling, happy and make the pickup easy peasy. I’ll be back… (again :D)

Their showroom is stunning. It was truly fascinating seeing the different applications of the wood.  The entire process was exciting! We ended up choosing gray board as an accent wall. I don’t have anything to compare it to but I feel their pricing was fair. I can’t wait to have this beautiful wood up!!!
