APPEARANCE OPTIONS
Our most popular rustic exterior siding is milled with our “Gray Board” and “Douglas Fir” planking because of consistency, availability, and available lengths. For a more rustic and varied look, some people choose our “Oak Barn Planking” which comes in a variety of colors and shorter lengths. For those looking for a more refined appearance, we can mill our exceptionally dense and clear vertical grain redwood available in long lengths.
6” and 8” Sanded Gray Board Original Edges
2” x 11” Sanded Douglas Fir Straight Edged and Ordered in Uniform Lengths
PROFILE OPTIONS
We offer our planking material milled different profiles depending on the look you are trying to achieve. Popular options include, but are not limited to, “Tongue and Groove”, “Shiplap”, “Beveled Shiplap”, “Board and Batten”, “Straight Edged”, and “Original Rustic Edges”. Please keep in mind that without an overlapping joint, the siding should be spaced from the building to allow for proper draining. Shiplap is the option for horizontal applications and require exposed fasteners. Vertical applications can be accomplished with a Tongue and Groove profile which can be installed by “blind nailing” the material to eliminate exposed fasteners.
