ANTIQUE RECLAIMED IRONWOOD FROM BORNEO
Reclaimed Ulin Paneling
Our Reclaimed Ulin Wall Cladding is sourced from historic structures across Indonesia and is often referred to as “ironwood.” Known for its extreme density and stability, Ulin presents a bold, high-contrast appearance with tones ranging from dark chocolate browns to near-black hues in its more textured, rustic form.
This product is available in three distinct surface variations, each representing a different stage of the material’s original surface: (1) Rustic—with full texture and a deep, near-black patina intact; (2) Semi-Surfaced—lightly drum sanded to reduce texture while exposing areas of raw wood (custom milled, 200 sf minimum); and (3) Smooth—fully planed to reveal the wood’s natural caramel tones, which deepen over time. Rustic and Smooth options are typically available from stock.
This material is milled to a consistent 1/4″ thickness with straight-line edges, making it well suited for interior wall and ceiling applications where a deeper, more grounded palette is desired. We maintain a substantial on-hand inventory of reclaimed Ulin wall cladding, with material regularly available across all three surface variations.
