Vintage Timberworks maintains one of the West Coast’s largest in-stock inventories of reclaimed wood beams and timbers, with material sourced from historic barns, industrial buildings, and antiquated structures across the United States. Our inventory includes reclaimed Douglas fir, Redwood, Cedar, White Oak, Red Oak, and other mixed species in a wide range of sizes and lengths, including select oversized architectural timbers over 40 feet long.

From hand-hewn barn beams to rough-sawn industrial timber, our five-acre lumberyard in Southern California offers authentic, reclaimed vintage beams for residential, commercial, and architectural projects. Raw beams are sold in full-length “as received” condition, while processed timber packages are commonly crew-selected and priced to include all requested labor and excess based on the specific needs of each project. Pricing varies based on several factors that include timber type, sizing, length, and total quantity needed.

What to expect when visiting our lumberyard

How our lumberyard works:

Given the antique nature of our materials, our pricing is typically higher than new wood
Lengths of beams and boards are random – NOT like stacks of identical lengths found in traditional lumberyards
Raw materials are sold as full length (we don’t cut off portions of longer timbers and sell shorter sections)
Milled and processed timber packages are typically crew-selected
Due to the scope of our inventory, materials may not be immediately available to select from during your visit without prior notice and approval

Timber dimensions are nominal and vary from piece to piece
Beams and lumber may be supplied from various sources and not be an exact match in color or character
Preliminary pricing can be estimated over the phone or via email
Our staff may be able to check stock or speak to current availability of particular sizing
