For customers looking to add dramatic character to their ceilings, our reclaimed timber trusses offer a proven solution. Our material is used on a regular basis for large-scale architectural trusses, suitable for both structural and decorative applications.

Projects can be supplied in several ways depending on scope and installation requirements including:

Lumber Package — prepped and labeled material for on-site fitting & assembly (most common approach)
Pre-Cut & Pre-Fit Package — cut and test-fit, then disassembled and packaged for delivery
Fully Fabricated Trusses — Delivered fully-assembled and ready to be craned into place

To get the conversation started, we typically begin by breaking the project down into a material package first, allowing us to establish scale, appearance, and preliminary budget estimates before exploring fabrication costs and production timelines.

Step 1 — Customer Provided Plans or Design Intent

Engineered drawings (for structural) or inspiration/design direction
Paired with a general idea of size, quantity, and timeline

Step 2 —Preliminary Material Pricing

Initial pricing is based on material only to establish:

Scale and proportions
Desired appearance
Budget alignment

Step 3 — Fabrication & Hardware Review

Once material is approved:

Fabrication team evaluates joinery and assembly
Hardware and connection requirements are reviewed
Fabrication & hardware costs are then outlined separately

Step 4- Fabrication and Delivery

Upon receipt of signed quote and deposit:

Our team schedules the job, dedicates materials, and orders any needed hardware.
Delivered based on project scope (lumber package, pre-fit package, or fully assembled trusses)

Upon completion:

Our team can help to coordinate delivery via 3rd party carrier

What to expect

How the process works:

Material is sourced and priced from our available inventory
Material and fabrication costs are outlined separately
Trusses are fabricated based on customer-provided drawings
Structural trusses can be produced from reclaimed Douglas fir (graded when required)
Decorative trusses can be built from solid or hollow timber depending on design intent
Lumber packages are an option for on-site assembly

Before getting started:

Truss design and engineering must be provided by customer or their team
Site measurement and installation services are not available (we may be able to recommend someone)
Trusses that incorporate curves or arches are for decorative purposes only (non-structural)
Standard framing trusses are not part of our scope
(2×4 / 2×6 construction with nail plates for ADUs or conventional framing)
