Featured in Luxe Magazine September 2020, this stunning residence in Malibu incorporated our solid hand hewn barn timbers throughout. Each beam was selected from our yard for their intended use and painstakingly washed and detail sanded to clean the antique surface while preserving the antique patina. Any beam side that would be installed against a wall or ceiling was cut flat to facilitate intstallation and they were packaged and labeled in each intended room. Original mortises and notches from the beams’ previsous life in an antiquated barn circa late 1800’s remained unfilled per customer request and accentuates thier authenic character.
