We’re excited to announce the arrival of another container of teak flooring straight from Indonesia! This load consists of several products including “patina”, smooth (non-patina), multi-strip flooring, and original painted aqua tones paneling reclaimed teak.
All of the engineered teak flooring we offer is supplied with an all teak substrate to help maximize durability and utilize this precious and limited resource. A substantial wear layer of 6 mm on “patina” and 4 mm on smooth flooring ensures generations of use and the ability to refinish multiple times if desired.
6000 square feet of our most popular “patina” teak flooring in mixed widths from 3 1/8″ to 5 1/2″ or 6 1/4″ to 7 7/8″ just arrived with each plank offering the original patina and mill marks and character has been hand sanded and glass rubbed to further smooth the material and give the feel of an antique foot worn floor. This product is a favorite amongst customers looking for flooring that has an antique feel without feeling like a barn wood floor. A herringbone pattern of approx. 3″x 17″ is also currently available. Original texture and patina, while offering a beautiful appearance, mask any new “texture” or markings from home owners with pets who are worried about scratches.
2000 square feet of our “smooth” teak flooring arrived in mixed widths from 3 1/8″ to 5 1/2″ or 6 1/4″ to 7 7/8″ can also be wire brushed to add subtle texture works well in many of today’s contemporary or modern installations.
Widths from each of these products can be mixed to have a more random width feel for customers looking for a more varied width installation.
We’re also excited to feature a new “multi-strip” patina product that is provided in 7 7/8″ planks. Each plank consists of multiple strips of teak with the original patina and mill marks to give a more rustic and varied look. This product works well in for accent walls and rustic cabinetry.
Original painted teak paneling is available in aqua tones and works well for commercial and residential products. The original does not contain lead paint (an important detail that other suppliers do not offer). Reclaimed from Indonesian buildings and boats, the original teal, blue, green, and white paint work well in most environments.
