NATURAL PATINA ON ORIGINAL SMOOTH AND ROUGH SAWN SURFACES

Reclaimed Douglas fir – Original Patina

Our Reclaimed Douglas Fir Beams with original patina are salvaged from industrial buildings across the United States, showcasing naturally aged, rustic surfaces that developed over decades of use. These beams feature rich, brown tones with a mix of original rough-sawn or smooth faces—sometimes both textures within the same timber—for a genuinely time-worn appearance.

Available in a wide range of sizes from 3×4 to 16×32 with lengths occasionally exceeding 40’. Most orders are supplied as a processed package, including light surface cleaning and sanding on exposed faces, and milling one or more sides flat for installation—refining the beams while preserving their original patina on their intended exposed sides.

For single-beam applications, material can also be purchased in their raw, “as-received” condition directly out of the warehouse and hand selected in our yard, allowing for on-site cleanup and customization. In these cases, beams are sold based on their existing dimensions and actual length as available in inventory.

Beams can be supplied as solid timbers or fabricated into custom box beams, depending on the needs of the project.
